My research tells me that the 2021 Newmar Bay Star Sport Motorhome is built on the Ford F-53 chassis. In this case, there are actually not any custom-fit floor mats for this vehicle, however, you can go with a universal fit such as WeatherTech All-Vehicle Mat Auto Floor Liners - Front and Rear - Gray # 61-11AVMOTHSG. These mats offer a trim-to-fit design so that they can work with various vehicles. view full answer...
Of all of the vent lid colors we offer the smoke lenses like the part # FV807350 that you referenced let in the most light since it's the only transluscent color we offer. White will let in some light but since it's a solid color not nearly as much as this. view full answer...
For your motorhome built on a 2018 Ford F-53 chassis that has a GVWR of 24,000 lbs the correct rear sway bar is the part # RM-1139-149 and not the # RM-1139-148 that you ordered unfortunately. This is why you are experiencing the issues you are. view full answer...
Did you mean to say that your motorhome was built on the F550 chassis? According to the literature I found online, that's the chassis that Newmar built the 2016 Baystar Sport 2903 on.
If that's the case, you've likely missing the fuse that powers up the 12-v feed to the 7-way that many use to keep a trailer battery maintained. According to the owner's manual, the fuse should either be a 40A in location # 10 or a 25A in location # 90. These can be found in the power distribution box in... view full answer...
For your Newmar Bay Star Sport 2702, I'd recommend the Sumo Springs Maxim # SSR-187-40-1 for the rear and the Rebel # SSF-170-40-2 for the front. The Rebel springs are specifically designed for use on a steer axle, while the Maxim is designed for the drive axle. Sumo Springs do a great job of helping to reduce shocks and bumps, and they also help minimize sway and body roll.
I've linked to some installation videos that you might find helpful. view full answer...
Each option to replace the ladder on your 2018 Newmar Bay Sport motorhome are universal ladders, and you can choose from two different lengths, either 99-1/2 inches (8 feet, 3-1/2 inches) or 84-1/2 inches (7 feet, 1/2 Inch):
- 84-1/2 inches: Surco Universal Exterior RV Ladder # SP502L

The Parallax 7345 has a 45 amp converter in it so the Progressive Dynamics Mighty Mini AC/DC Panel and Converter/Smart Charger - 45 Amp # PD4045KA you were looking at would be a perfect replacement for it. They'll just need to flip the small switch (pictured below) to the "LI" setting to switch the converter to lithium mode.
This unit requires a cutout hole 10-3/4" long x 7-1/4" tall, so they can remove the mounting screws of their current unit to measure the cutout and see if any alterations... view full answer...
Hey Jean, so in the install instructions for the Progressive Dynamics converter part # PD9280A the wiring requirements are pretty interesting. For the chassis ground wire they recommend between 6 and 12 AWG.
From battery ground to converter negative they recommend between 2 and 14 AWG, and the same for the battery positive and positive lug of the converter.
So if you have the minimum thickness wire already you do not need to change anything. view full answer...
I would be happy to help you. Our system is weird and even though there is only one model each of Timbren's for your 2018 Newmar Bay Star Sport Motorhome front and rear they list them individually.
For your front end you will want the Timbren Front Suspension Enhancement System item # TFFF53B.
For your rear end you will want the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System item # TFRF53A.
These systems fit the 2702, 2812, 2903, 3113, 3307, 3312 models of the 2018 Newmar Bay Star Sport... view full answer...
Yes you can use the Roadmaster Tow Dolly # RM-2050-1 to tow your FWD 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport. This doesn't come with a trailer wiring plug so you'd also need the # PK12706. view full answer...
Hey Jean, so it really depends on the rating of your current transfer switch if you should replace it with the part # PD64FR at same time as when you install the converter part # PD9280A.
The new converter is rated for up to 1,300 watts so your current transfer switch would need to be rated for at least that to get full advantage of the new converter. If not, then it would be a good idea also go with the new switch part # PD64FR which is rated for 2,000 watts. view full answer...
It's not overly critical no, ideally you'd want your Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar # RM-1139-145 to be as level as possible so if the lower hole is the closest to level then that would be the one you need to use. There are also two holes in the frame bracket hangar that can be used for additional adjustments if need be.
I've included the optimal angle for install for you to reference as well. view full answer...
The Hollywood Racks RV Rider Bike Rack # HLY64FR is rated for RV use and will work with most RV's. The easiest way to determine your clearance would be to measure the distance from the hitch pin hole on your RV's hitch. The closest point on the Hollywood Racks RV Rider Bike Rack # HLY64FR is 12" from the center of the hitch pin hole.
We have not had the chance to test the Hollywood Racks RV Rider Bike Rack # HLY64FR on a Newmar specifically. But you are correct that there are a lot of... view full answer...
For the front you would want the SumoSprings part # SSF-170-40-2 and for the rear # SSR-187-54-1 and you'd be set. We've installed these on a similar Newmar Bay Star Sport 2813 as yours and we found they fit and worked great. view full answer...
We can absolutely get you the correct SumoSprings for your 2018 Newmar Bay Sport 3307 motorhome, and what you'll need are the following part numbers:
- Front: SumoSprings Rebel Custom Helper Springs # SSF-170-40-2
- Rear: SumoSprings Maxim Custom Helper Springs # SSR-187-54-1
SumoSprings are a really smart choice to add to your motorhome, because they engage as needed to counteract sway, compressing based on the amount of weight being transferred. So when you encounter that heavy crosswind,... view full answer...
For your 2014 Newmar Bay Star Sport MH I recommend going with the Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar # RM-1139-145 first if you have to choose.
Since your coach is rear-wheel drive you'd benefit most from an anti-sway bar for the rear. Obviously adding the front anti-say bar would only further improve handling, but if you need one now and can't get both, the rear is what I'd do first. view full answer...
The Propane Tank Connector Fitting # 37207-30075 has a excess flow limit feature built into it that limits flow if there was to be a leak whereas the # 37207-30065 does not have that feature. Aside from that they are the same and have a soft nose POL on one end and a 1/4 inch male NPT on other. view full answer...
